Diving at Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Surin and Richelieu Rock
The Andaman Sea offers fantastic white sandy beaches, crystal clear water and warm tropical nights with a pleasant breeze.
Divers get their money’s worth at Similan National Park as well as at Surin, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock, because the underwater world offers a lot of variety. Big fish like rays, whale sharks, sharks or schools of mackerels, mantas, turtles, but also small things like nudibranches or shrimps and much more are part of the repertoire. No wonder the Similan Islands are one of the best diving areas worldwide. The reefs are not only home to the fishes but are also decorated, depending on the dive site, with colorful gorgonian fans, hard corals as well as soft corals.
The Similans can be reached by speedboat and liveaboard. If you have at least two or three days time to go diving, we recommend you to book a liveaboard, because this way you can see the most and can do a lot of fascinating dives.
There are of course also easily day trips possible to the Similan National Park, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock.
At Sea Turtle Divers we place great emphasis on safety, which is why we always dive in small groups, in a ratio of 4 to 1, i.e. 4 divers and 1 dive guide. Before each dive our guests get a detailed briefing in German and/or English.
